Artsy Fartsy Day
Bonjour mes amis!! (Hello, my friends) As you can probably tell from the title of the post, my day was filled with super "artsy fartsy"activities. First task of the day was to finish my International Economics paper. Then for the rest of the day, I just caught up on journaling and started to cut out things I liked from my old magazines and made collages. Oh you know... just another Saturday evening, exercising the right side of my brain.

The Little Bit of Inspiration I Needed...
I really do need to apologize for not posting but studying abroad, in Paris, is a major distraction. I want to blog more often and document the fashion I get to witness everyday just walking back from school or my local boulangerie. Thank you Mr. Wang for reminding what I love the most and what my true passion is, fashion. Enjoy mes amis!! xx

Paris Fashion Week
Paris Fashion Week has officially ended and the city was filled with must see editors from all over the world, beautiful models and crazed photographers and fans. Everyone who's everyone has been planning their outfits months in advance. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to witness all the fashion madness and to be a spectator of the iconic attendees like Anna Dello Russo, André Leon Talley, Franca Sozzani, Bill Cunningham and many more. This week is also another busy week for me because it is mid-terms week, but soon after it will be spring break!! I will try to post more often on my blog because this is something I enjoy doing unlike studying for my International Economics or American Business Law mid-terms but of course schooling is important.
Here are pictures from the first day I went out to see what Paris Fashion Week was all about. These pictures are from the Nina Ricci Show in the Jardin des Tuileries (which was by far my favorite venue). Since it was the first day, I just wanted to see how fashion week was set up, so I do apologize for the terrible pictures but I do promise that it progressively gets better as the week went on.

Street Style: Jardin des Tuileries
VoilĂ , my first Parisian Street Style post! While enjoying the rays in the Jardin des Tuileries with French class classmate, I spotted some cool styles. This fellow was sporting classic white All-Stars, black Harem trousers, baggy grey sweater and a black leather cross-body And to top it off he was wearing his sunnies to protect his eyes from the beautiful sunny day in Paris. It has been everything and more, I am falling in love with Paris more and more everyday. Paris fashion week starts on Tuesday, and I could not be more excited to possibly witness even a glimpse of Paris Fashion Week. Bisou Bisou!!

Parisian Life
It is official, I am finally in PARIS! One of the fashion capitals of the world. It is so exciting to be living, breathing, eating my way through this beautiful city. I feel as if I am falling in love every minute, hour, day, and night. My heart cannot take all this beauty that Paris has to offer. It is such an amazing city and I cannot wait to explore more of Paris fashion street style. And to develop my own Parisian street style myself. I have already started exploring some of the vintage shops, one in particular in Saint Michel that we happened to stumble upon. Let this soysaucefashion blog expand with my time in Paris. Cheers to the City of Lights and Love. Bon soir, there will be more to come in the next few days. Bisou Bisou.

C'est Simple
Since the weather is starting to cool down and actually feel like winter (for once), I decided to sport my tailored creme peacoat with a basic black outfit under it. With Paris coming soon, I know I am going to get a lot of use of this coat because it keeps me super warm with the wool material. Apparently January is the coldest month in Paris, but it is pretty much cool for most of the year except for June/July/August. I am looking forward to the light beautiful drizzly rain and the cool dreary days in Paris because I think Paris is one of the few cities in the world that shines in any type of weather. And of course, my little Casper had to make an appearance; one thing that he is not is camera shy.
(Sunnies from Linda Farrow, Peacoat from Shanghai, Long sleeve shirt from Banana Republic, Shorts from Zara, Black tights, and Studded flats from Zara)

C'est la Vie
I am currently getting ready to jet off to one of world's major fashion capital: Paris, France. While deciding on what I want to bring to start my European wardrobe, I have certain pieces that I want to take with me. My must-have pieces are: my leather jacket, studded loafers, high-waisted black shorts, creme colored peacoat, and a simple oversized white tee. I cannot wait to arrive in Paris to be welcomed with the start of Paris Fashion Week: Spring 2013. And I am excited to explore the vintage stores that are skattered all over the fashionable little city. Since my departure to Paris is just around the corner, I have not been able to post as often as I would like but I promise there the wait will all be worth it once I start blogging in PARIS!!
Beauty Essentials
Salut Fashionistas!! Sorry for the lack of content recently... I have been overloaded with finals, papers and projects because sadly my semester in Paris is coming to an end. With all the stress and lack of sleep these beauty products keep me looking my normal-self. Promise more content will be coming in the next few days.
