Spring in Paris

While abroad in Paris, I have been fortunate enough to bear witness to a vast range of distinct and tasteful fashion trends on a daily basis.  Quite recently, the Parisian sun decided to make a very fashionable and much welcomed entrance, signaling that spring has sprung in the City of Amour. On the more sunnier days, I spend my afternoons in the various parcs around the city. I was in Jardin des Tuileries the other afternoon enjoying the soleil after class and caught up with a friend by the pond.

I kept my outfit simple by pairing my favorite forest green military inspired jacket from Banana Republic with a classic très French black and white striped top from H&M. For the bottoms, I went with some high-waisted Zara shorts with black tights to keep my legs warm. As for the footwear, I sported my new Zara flats with gold metal detail on the tip. Since school had just gotten out, I had my school supplies in my black LongChamp bag and my Linda Farrow sunnies.

Yours Truly, Miss Joker

(Forever 21 Beanie, Linda Farrow Sunnies, Blazer from Banana Republic, Crop Top from Urban Outfitters, High Waisted Shorts from H&M, Combat boots from Lucky Brand, Backpack from TJ Maxx and Watch from Michael Kors)

Every time I put this blazer on, I channel my inner Joker badass-self. There is just something about this blazer that screams Joker and the entire Marvel colors tones. You know the distinct envy green with the classic mustard yellow that were used in the comics. Oh Marvel Comics, where do I even begin? Long story short, my personal favorites would be Batman and Iron Man.

Now for my Linda Farrow sunnies. They are definitely one of my most treasured item that I own. Linda Farrow is know for her iconic eyewear, such as the Lady Gaga-esque/ Mickey Mouse eyewear she is known for. I put my pair on when I wanna channel a bit of badass rocker chick mixed with a little bit of John Lennon-esque vibe. And of course, on these cold winter days, I have been topping off all my looks with any of my trusty beanies.

Cheers!! xx

Now with a clear schedule, I have more time on my hands to document my outfits and focus on my true passion, fashion. Yesterday at midnight was supposed to be the end of the world (according to the Mayans) but of course it did not because we are all still alive and well today. So, yay for surviving!!!

Today's look is pretty chill because I didn't have a busy day. I played model and photographer because my sister was working on her senior ad and she needed some photos to create her backdrop for her ad. Maybe I'll show you some of the photographs I shot for my little sister once she is done with her background. Cheers to all over us surviving the end of the world, but we should all live life as if it were to end tomorrow. Peace and Love.
